Shortgrass Technology was created in 2010 as the technology arm of Sequoia Golf. 

Shortgrass provides comprehensive technology solutions to small businesses but specializes in catering to the technology needs of golf clubs. Shortgrass developed a mobile application that is available to most Sequoia Golf members for free and is available on both IPhone and Android devices.   The clubs have seen a shift in members’ behavior with up to 50% of reservations being booked via mobile app or web technology.  We have learned that reservations continue to be booked long after the staff leaves the club and the members love it!

Shortgrass also offers a Managed IT Service platform. 

As Sequoia acquired and managed new properties it became apparent the large gaps that existed in IT for many golf clubs.  Clubs were over spending for services that were unnecessary for a small business, while others were ignoring IT all together.  Shortgrass Managed IT service gives the necessary protections and support without the unpredictable bill that is inevitable with a reactive approach. We accomplish this by use of the Shortgrass Agent which allows us to remotely monitor and support the following:
